# Cannot access wp-admin

 * Having moved my WordPress site from one server to another I find that while the
   site is still functional I cannot access the administrator page.
 * When I type in [http://www.cttgroup.co.uk/wp-admin](http://www.cttgroup.co.uk/wp-admin)
   I get a blank page and the URL shows: [http://www.cttgroup.co.uk/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.cttgroup.co.uk%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1](http://www.cttgroup.co.uk/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.cttgroup.co.uk%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1)
 * I have tried the various methods in the help files but cannot resolve this problem.
   Can anyone suggest what I should try to fix this ?

 * I hate this – it’s known as the “White Screen of Death” amongst some WP developers…
   there’s multiple things that might be causing the error.
 * Try renaming your theme’s folder, forcing WordPress to use another, then see 
   if you can get into wp-admin.

 * Thanks for the feedback. It appears that on this occasion an earlier attempt 
   to update the version of WordPress had left the files in a bit of a mess.
 * By copying over a cleaned up version the site is now working again.
