# Cannot activate widget

 * I have installed The Events Calendar, and it works fine. However, I would like
   to be able to add a widget to my site, and I cannot find it.
 * Does anyone have a solution to this, other than hard-code it?

 * There should be an included widget, called ‘Events List’ that lets you display
   a list of events in widgetable areas.
 * There are three other widgets: Events Calendar, Events Countdown, Events Featured
   Venue available in the pro version.

 * What theme are you using? And what version of The Events Calendar? That might
   affect your ability to see the widget.

 * I found it. Problem was that the translation to Danish had used a simple word
   translation “Liste” (UK: List) with no reference to Event list (DA: Aktivitetsliste).
 * Now it works.

 * The Danish translation for The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO is pretty
   outdated, so that’s probably not the only problem. If you’re interested, I would
   love to have you work on updating the translation for us. Check out our Translation
   Forum for more information.
