# Cannot Add Gallery

 * Hi,
 * I’m new to WordPress, but I am trying to create a gallery on my webpage using
   NextGen. I followed the install instructions, but I get the following error when
   I try to add a gallery. Can you tell me what I should do to fix this?
 * Directory wp-content/gallery/ didn’t exist. Please create first the main gallery
