# Cannot add services – always same error

 * I just installed Packlink PRO and entered the API key.
    That worked fine and 
   I was able to confirm standard package size and default sender address.
 * But then I need to add a service and whenever I hit “Add Services” I always get“
   We are having trouble getting shipping services” (Retry/Cancel). I tried to uninstall
   the plugin and start over but it does not help.
 * What am I doing wrong?
    WP 5.7/ woocommerce 5.1.0
 * Thanks for a quick advice here

 * Hi Cristina,
 * I was able to solve the problem. In my case, my site was not live yet and therefore
   protected by a password plugin, that made the frontend unavailable for most users.
   
   Somehow, Packlink needed this plugin to be inactive to work properly.
 * So, do you maybe have something that blocks access to your site (Password, Maintenance
   mode, etc.)? Then that may be the problem.

    I have Maintenance mode, I switch off and ta taan… It works! Thank
   you very much.

 * Hi,
 * If mantenance mode is activated our pluggin will not work. To install it you 
   need to desactivate the mantenance mode
