# cannot change admin nickname

 * Hello, as administrator I noticed that my nickname is stored as **john-2-2-2-
   2-2-2-2-2-2-2**. I tried to change it, as well as the name shown to other users,
   but it doesn’t get saved. Do you have a solution?

 * Hi @arsenalemusica,
    Please change your nickname and display name in forum front-
   end My Profile > Account page. Then navigate to Dashboard > Forums > Dashboard
   and click on [Delete All Caches] button. Then delete website cache.

 * Then please deactivate other plugins, do exactly the same steps.
