# Cannot change permalink structure. Help.

 * Hey all,
 * My permalink structure is set to “default” and there is no problem at all.
 * When I make a custom structure (or any change whatsoever, I tried them all), 
   I get a 404 no page found error. This also happens with the home page which is
   the root of the domain.
 * How can I fix this?

 * Check with your host if they have Mod_rewrite ON if you are linux server
