I was so excited when I finally found a template that I could actually customize to get the look that I wanted. And even more happy when I found documentation to help me make the ONLY change I had not been able to make: to adjust the height of the header.
It said: “Check this box to enable extended header options such as header image and call-to-action-buttons. Header height 5% Choose the title top and bottom padding, which will affect the header height; default is 10%`”
However, when I checked the box to `Activate extended header,” and chose all of the optional settings, it makes absolutely no difference in the height of the header. I was working on the Home page below the Content area as instructed.
Do I need to make a change in the File Editor?

I apologize. It’s the site header that I want to change. The function I described is the Page Header and it does work.
I would like adjust the site header height only.
BTW, I discovered a way to make a clean text logo. Every attempt I made at creating text was fuzzy or just not crisp until I decided to insert a background layer the same color as my header. Perfect!

The site header depends of logo and of logo padding. Find out in customize/site identity

As @wylydoicu mentioned, it is in site identity and not related to the template.
It took me 2 hours of searching to find this but I forgot to post the solution here
