cannot change tagline

    I cannot change the site tagline. When I go to the settings the words “Just another WordPress site” appear in the tagline box. When I change the tagline text and save it, the tagline remains with the old text. My theme provider says that this issue is with wordpress and not with the theme

    Please provide info on how I can change the tagline

    Does the same thing happen with all plugins temporarily deactivated at the same time? If it doesn’t, then it is a plugin conflict with one of the plugins you are using.

    If it does, does the same thing happen if you leave plugins disabled and then temporarily switch to TwentySixteen or TwentyFifteen and try your change again. If the problem goes away, the problem is with your theme.
