# cannot change the Google analytics code

 * I have got the analytics code for my site,
    but everytime I update the theme 
   with the code I get “Looks like something’s gone wrong. Wait a couple of seconds,
   and then try again.”

 * Standard debugging procedure.
 * Try changing to WordPress default theme, see if the theme currently in use is
   the problem.
 * Try disabling all plugins, see if the problem goes away, enable one at a time
   to pinpoint the culprit.
 * Try using Health Check plugin (which can do all the above quickly)

 * Contact hosting provider, I read somewhere that this kind of error could be from
   server settings.

   We’re determining next steps on whether it makes sense to remove the field from
   the upgraded version.
