Cannot Change theme or upload content

    I realized that I couldn’t upload any content to my website last Friday, I could not type in the text tab, or the visual tab. I also could not upload any media items.

    So I went through the usual troubleshooting, cleared caches, deactivated plugins, then I went to go change my theme and realized that I couldn’t. It won’t let me even view new themes.

    I am a wordpress newbie. Please help me in anyway you can! I would really appreciate that.

    Hi,

    If it’s allowing you to see the Appearance > Themes page then you can try to upload the theme using FTP and then activate it to see if the site works after that. Let me know. 🙂

    It will not let me upload themes either. I’ve tried that too. Thanks though!

    Using FTP? It’s not letting you upload theme using FTP? 🙂

    Sorry didn’t read the whole thing, I have now successfully changed the theme and I still have the same problem.

    It appears to be an issue with your WordPress. Make sure you’re using the latest version. And if you’re then try to reinstall it to see if it works. 🙂
