# Cannot Communicate with Gateway Error

 * Been using this plugin on (2) of my sites for several months and then suddenly
   on May 30 customers reported that they were getting a payment error.
 * We investigated and used the plugin in “test” mode and everything worked flawlessly.
 * So we changed to “live” and proceeded a $1.00 transaction and then suddenly got
   the Gateway error. A quick check in the authorize.net panel found that our test
   $1.00 transaction was charged every time I pressed the submit order button.
 * So we found several attempted transactions charged several times because of this
   error.
 * Not sure why suddenly the app started doing this and why the entire process works
   flawlessly when we set to test mode in the authorize.net panel.
 * We have disabled the app for the time being because we do not want issues with
   customers receiving multiple charges.
 * Any help is appreciated.

    All of our sites started doing this
   out of nowhere just over a week ago and I’ve tried everything.
