# Cannot connect to WordPress database

 * Hey nintechnet,
    on some of my installations i get this error code “Cannot connect
   to WordPress database”. In the changelog of 4.2.2 i saw the topic “Better handling
   of the backslash character in the database password field.“ and this seems to
   be the error. All installations with this error are containing a backslash in
   the db password – will there be an update soon?

 * Can you send me the whole line from your wp-config.php that contains the password(
   slightly edited) to `contact at nintechnet .com`.
    The whole line looks like 
   this: `define('DB_PASSWORD', 'your-password');`
 * You can replace each alphanumeric character with a `x`, but please don’t modify
   non-alphanumeric characters.
