# Cannot Create Category

 * I fill out the place category form set the schema type to restaurant press “Add
   new place category” and the schema type reverts to default but nothing else happens,
   no other fields are changed, no confirmation of add, no message, and the category
   is not added.

 * did you upload a category icon too? That’s a mandatory field.
 * If that’s not the problem, there could be a javascript conflict that is preventing
   the categories from being saved.
 * In that case we would need to have a look at your dashboard to be able to find
   the culprit (probably another plugin).
 * If you need, please register in our official support forum (it’s public and free)
   and open a new support topic. After that reply to your own topic, set the reply
   as private (so only staff can read it) and provide a url and admin credentials.

 * No I did not upload the category icon, there was no indication that it was a 
   required field and no error message.
 * I just tried to upload one, but when I click on Category Icon “Upload Image” 
   nothing happens.

 * I tried it in some other browsers. It appears that I had javascript disabled 
   for this site in Firefox. Thanks for your quick reply.
