# Cannot Create Folder

 * I cannot upload any media – I get the following message
 * Unable to create directory D:\home\Default\www.mmysite.com\htdocs/wp-content/
   uploads/2009/05. Is its parent directory writable by the server?
 * The parent directory definitely is writeable. Anyone any ideas

 * Is this site hosted on your on machine? If not, chmod wp-content to 766. If that
   doesn’t work, try 767 or 777 as a last resort.
