# Cannot create/modify posts/pages with Gutenberg.

 * Returning to WP after a long absence, I’m unable to create or modify posts/pages
   with Gutenberg.
 * It’s a fresh install, latest version, default TwentyTwentyThree theme with no
   plugins or mods.
 * The ‘updating’ and ‘saving’ and ‘generating preview’ buttons animate but do nothing
   else.
 * If I switch to classic editor, things work as they should.
 * A search shows many instances of similar issues, but I’ve yet to find a fix.

 * UPDATE: On another fresh install, things work as expected.
 * So I’ll move on and attribute the above issue to ‘technical glitch’, rather than
   try to identify the cause and find a fix.
