# Cannot deactivate “Better Search Replace”

 * I cannot deactivate the “Better Search Replace” plugin. Nothing happens when 
   you click deactivate.

    After using (I used to update http to https) can
   I disable and delete the plugin or will in use no resources just to have it sit
   there? Thanks
