 * I can’t deactivate version 2013.0730.7777
 * I’ve deactivated all other plugins, but when I click deactivate on yours, it
   just refreshes the page, and still shows enabled.

 * I deactivated it via the database using this guide [http://perishablepress.com/quickly-disable-or-enable-all-wordpress-plugins-via-the-database/](http://perishablepress.com/quickly-disable-or-enable-all-wordpress-plugins-via-the-database/)
   but I still would like to know why I couldn’t disable it before.

 * If you are using APC or Memcached, or the internal cache SimplePie, it is said
   that the DashBoard immediately reflect the changes or settings.
 * Maybe it was enough simply try again a second time?
 * It is not the first time I’ve heard of plugins that you do not uninstall, especially
   on WordPress updated several times without installing it fresh.
 * Perishable procedure was made for older versions of WordPress prior to 2.9
   and then was updated, but it is still very outdated documentation. Who can really
   say what the consequences after using this procedure?
 * If in the past we have used other similar procedures, although in good faith,
   directly on the database, even if everything seems to be going well, after a
   long time who can really say what might happen in WordPress?
 * Also if you use your custom functions (function.php) or custom settings, after
   a long time who can really say what might happen in WordPress?
 * Try to manual install version 5555 or 6666 and after update it to 7777 from DashBoard
   plugin update function. If update work fine, your problem is another 🙂 Update
   Plugin, on fact, deactivate the plugin before upgrade it, and after reactivate
   it automatically … Versions 5555, 6666, and 7777 have same type of coding …
 * I will consider the report for future developments.
 * Thanks for your report 😉
 * Know you Sharí?
