 * Hi, trying to deconnect Jetpack from a primary network site (I need it to reconnect
   with another WordPress.com account), it does not seem to be possible.
 * First, my account was indeed deconnected and in WordPress.com the site has disappeared.
   So far, so good but… when I reload the Jetpack dashboard on the site itself,
   it appears Jetpack is still connected. However, it does not tell me with which
   WordPress.com account. It just sais “Connecté en tant que” and nothing after
   that.
 * I can try to deconnect again via the link “Gérer la connexion du site” but even
   though it sais “Vous avez correctement déconnecté Jetpack”, after reloading the
   dashboard it shows as connected with the ghost account again.
 * How can I force a deconnection?
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Fcannot-deconnect-jetpack%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)
   to see the link]_

 * The debugging page sais:
 * { “error”:”Could not validate security token”, “error_description”:”We were unable
   to validate a security token for Jetpack communication.
    Please try disconnecting
   Jetpack from your WordPress.com account, and connecting it again.” }
 * But following that advise obviously is not possible 🙁

 * Hey there, [@ravanh](https://wordpress.org/support/users/ravanh/)!
 * Thank you for contacting us about this connection issue. Two things make it clear
   your caching plugin is causing issues:
 * – You disconnected Jetpack. You know you disconnected Jetpack. WordPress.com
   shows your site is disconnected. **Your site still thinks it’s connected?!**
   –
   Response of `xmlrpc.php` is including comments from your caching plugin:
 *  – [http://pomclic.fr/xmlrpc.php](http://pomclic.fr/xmlrpc.php)
 * > <!–Cached using Nginx-Helper on 2018-08-13 23:31:32. It took 14 queries executed
   > in 2,091 seconds.–>

   > for more details–>
 * Please temporarily deactivate this plugin. If you are able to connect Jetpack,
   the plugin is conflicting with our connection. The output of `xmlrpc.php` should
   not include whitespace or additional characters; this will break Jetpack’s connection.
   Depending on the caching plugin’s settings, you may be able to exclude `xmlrpc.
   php` from caching.
 * Please let us know if you still have issues after temporarily deactivating your
   caching plugin, or if we can help with anything else! 🙂

      Reason: Each attempt at formatting is only making things worse. :)

 * Owww, good spot! That should not be happening. I’ll investigate why this comment
   is added there… And report back 🙂

 * Thanks @mzakariya you were right!
 * The timestamp comment should not appear there as the xmlrpc response is not actually
   cached… The quick fix: turn of the timestamp option in the Nginx Helper settings
   and Jetpack starts behaving like normal again 🙂
 * I’ve reported the issue here [https://wordpress.org/support/topic/nginx-helper-timestamp-and-xmlrpc-resonse/](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/nginx-helper-timestamp-and-xmlrpc-resonse/)
