Thanks @aakash8
That was the post that confused me as it reads (to me) that I have to basically start again, yet I’ve manualy changed all the product descriptions and renamed all the photos.
If I have to do this all over again, I might as well give up as I have over 2000 products.
Thanks for your reply.
@stanleymog Good news, got it figured out!
How to remove deleted WooCommerce items via WP All Import
- In the WordPress admin sidebar, navigate to
All Import > Manage Imports
- Hover over the desired import, and click
Settings
- Upload your new import file
- In the
Record Matching section, check the box for Delete products that are no longer present in your file*
- Click
Save Import Configuration
- Click
Run Import
*There are additional options to perform other actions on deleted products which can be seen here:

Thanks @aakash8
But it still isn’t working for me, the box is still greyed out.
I’ve tried a few different ways but still having no luck.
Thanks
Hey @stanleymog,
The “delete missing” option only works in a “New Items” import, and it can only delete products that the import previously created. In other words, “Import A” can only delete missing products if “Import A” previously created them, it can’t delete missing items that were created manually or by another import.
Since the box to delete products that are no longer present in the import is greyed out, it means you’re using an “Existing Items” import, and that import type does not support deleting missing posts at this time.
Do you have a way to get an import file that only contains the products that should be deleted?

I have got is sorted now using @aakash8 method, it seems the imports after a certain date will work, yet the newer imports won’t.
