• I can post files as admin. I can set the owner to user x and then i can login as user x and see the file. When I click to download, I get:
“It looks like nothing was found at this location. Maybe try a search?”

I do see the upload folder created at /customer-area/f4974cb1c96f415894aa243cb72e2255 and I do see the files there.

This happens every time. I’ve installed it on 2 different sites. I’ve uninstalled all other plugins. Am I doing something wrong?

Also, if this helps, I cannot view the file from the admin side if I go to: Private Files > edit (next to one of the files) > View Private File (at the top next to “get shortlink”). The path is /customer-area/files/my-files/2015/01/09/ss and that path does not exist (viewing the file structure).

Maybe you should try to refresh the permalinks and rewrite rules (using a plugin such as rewrite rules inspector)
