# Cannot Duplicate Stories

 * Recently, we’ve been unable to duplicate existing Web Stories. We’ve upgraded
   to the latest version and continue to get a “unable to duplicate story”. Any 
   insights on it? This was a huge time saver on adding new stories without overhauling
   designs.

   not able to duplicate a story. Could you please share a screen recording of your
   experience using a service such as [Loom](https://loom.com/) or [Recordit](https://recordit.co/)
   then share the URL here?

    1. Is this only happening when you try to duplicate stories? Are you able to edit/
       save/create stories?
    2. If possible, could you check for any [browser console errors](https://imgur.com/KyLAzgH)
       in the browser dev tools and send us a screenshot, using a screenshot sharing
       service such as [Jumpshare](https://jumpshare.com/), [Snippyly](https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/snippyly-%F0%9F%9A%80-collaborate-o/okdocmoamfmoeiifjhmgklgndmhaeaio)
       or [Imgur](https://imgur.com/)?
    3. Does this still happen with all other plugins disabled? There could be an error
       caused by a plugin that makes the responses invalid, hence the question.

 * 1) Do you see any warnings or errors about REST API when checking your Site Health
   status ([Tools > Site Health > Status](https://imgur.com/wSRWwon))?
 * 2) Could you please check your [CORS configuration](https://wp.stories.google/docs/troubleshooting/common-issues/)
   to resolve the CORS error in the console? You need to set the following headers:
 * `Access-Control-Allow-Origin headers`
   `Access-Control-Allow-Origin: *`
 * This is something that your hosting provider or site developer may be able to
   help you with.
