 * I upgraded to 2.9.2 a couple of days ago, but now I cannot edit any of my theme
   files. I have checked with my host and all permissions are correct.
 * The last thing I did was install the linkwithin plug-in for related posts with
   thumbnails (since I could not get any other plug-in to work properly)
 * I am using the lifestyle theme.
 * Please help me?

 * Have you tried:
 * – deactivating **all** plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works,
   re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
 * – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-related problems?
 * – [resetting the plugins folder](http://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_to_deactivate_all_plugins_when_not_able_to_access_the_administrative_menus.3F)
   by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause
   problems.

 * I tried the default theme, but it didn’t work. I do not understand about resetting
   the plug-ins folder and your last thought seems unfinished.

 * Sorry – that should have been:
 * re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a **fresh** download of
   WordPress?
 * Did you deactivate **all** plugins.

 * Yes, I have since deactivated all plug-ins & reactivated them one by one. It
   seems it was the AnyFont plug-in that was the problem, however I didn’t have
   any of these problems PRIOR to upgrading to the new version of WP.
 * I really don’t get it. Are there any reported bugs with the latest upgrade?

 * No known bugs of this type. How many other plugins do you have active? It could
   be that AnyFont isn’t playing nicely with another plugin.
