# Cannot Edit Tabs

 * All of our sites can no longer edit the content in individual tabs. We have a
   Pro license for Responsive Tabs for unlimited sites.

 * Confirm the problem.
    Impossible to edit Tabs after upgrade to WordPress 5.5.2.
   Edit Button doesn’t respond. Nothing happens.

 * We have tested the plugin with this version and it all works fine on our side.
   We have tested the plugin with WP5.6 too and it works.
 * There was an issue with WP5.5 caused by a deprecated jQuery method and it was
   fixed (before the new WordPress release).
 * Please make sure you have the latest version of the plugin installed and that
   there isn’t any conflict with any other plugin. If you are still experiencing

 * Note that both these issues could be unrelated. It’s also possible that these
   issues appeared before 5.5.2.

 * It was a problem on my side in the wp-incudes/class.wp-scripts.php
    There appeared
   a warning: Cannot assign an empty string to a string offset on line … I resolved
   it as indicated in the last post **[here](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/warning-cannot-assign-an-empty-string-to-a-string-offset-2/)**:
   After this the warning dissapeared and Edit Tabs works now. Thanks for a nice
   plugin and quick reply.
