# Cannot get Access Code.

 * Hello,
    I’m trying to add the Access Code but everytime I go through the steps
   of authorizing the plugin to access my GA account the tab (in Chrome) with the
   code flashes by and then disappears. When I reopen the tab Google gives me a 
   404 error.
 * Then I recorded the screen and stopped the replay on when I saw the Access Code.
   I keyed it in but it still didn’t work. When I look at the debug screen the only
   notes there are related to when I keyed in the Access Code. Prior to that – nothing
   shows.
 * I’m logged into GA and can navigate and see my properties fine. I’ve cleared 
   caches and logged out of the website and logged back in. Nothing seems to work.

 * Try to disable all your browser extensions or use an Incognito/Private window
   of your browser during authorization.
 * Multiple users reported it before, there a few browser extensions interfering
   with the process.

 * For me, the culprit causing this problem was the “Nimbus Screenshot & Screen 
   Video Recorder” extension.

 * Hi Alin & Jeff, Sorry, the notification emails were lost in my spam folder. I
   opted to switch to another plugin primarily because I wanted to use GTM instead.
   But thank you for taking the time to respond!
