# Cannot hide update message

 * “Your Advanced Responsive Video Embedder plugin was updated to version 6.0. Some
   things changed, please see migration guide for details.”
 * Woo hoo! But can I hide this message. It’s on my home page and the plugin page
   and there is no proper way of permanently disabling it. Sure I can uncheck it
   via the options at the top, but can’t we just get an X to hide it?

 * With homepage you refer to the WordPress Dashboard. You can hide entire widgets
   by clicking “screen options” on top and then unchecking the widgets you want 
   to be hidden.

 * You could also the little arrow to jsut collapse a the ARVE widget. The messages
   on the settings page can not be remove on purpose.
