# Cannot import folder. "no method filetree"

 * I use Next Gen Gallery 2.0.33 and WP 3.7.1. Today, I upload many folders via 
   FTP. I successfully imported 10 of those folders and created galleries, and some
   short code to post my galleries on WP pages.
 * Right now, however, I am trying to import more folders. Hover over gallery, click‘
   Add Gallery/Images’, click ‘Import Folder’, and a pound-sign gets added to my
   url bar after the url. In Chrome, F12, leads to one error “Uncaught TypeError:
   Object [object Object] has no method ‘fileTree’ ” and a reference to:

       http://www.123.com/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/products/…/nextgen_addgallery_page/st%EF%BF%BDtic/jquery.filetree/jquery.filetree.js
       Uncaught TypeError: Object [object Object] has no method 'fileTree' admin.php?page=ngg_addgallery:768
       ```
   
 * I am not able to see a Folder List as I was seeing this afternoon on my other
   computer at work. I tried Chrome 33, FireFox 25.0.1, IE 10.0.11. Cannot see a
   folder list, therefore cannot import folders.
 * Does anybody have any ideas?

 * I think I have found .. somehow .. that the word static got corrupted. Does anybody
   know what file I will find that code in so I can fix it?

 * I found the code .. module.nextgen_addgallery_page.php .. However, even if I 
   move the .js file out of the static directory .. or get rid of the php call to
   find the static directory .. the word “Static” .. or wherever I put the file 
   seems to get corrupted on one computer. It works fine from other computers. Just
   installed firefox for the first time, same deal there. When I view source, the
   word ‘Static’ has percent signs in it. I have tried to change the encoding (utf-
   8, windows-1252) …
 * Does anybody have any ideas as to why these Percent-Codes are showing up?
 * st%EF%BF%BDtic …. instead of the word ‘static’

   gallery/products/photocrati_nextgen/modules/nex%EF%BF%BDgen_addgallery_page/jquery.

 * Strangely, it works fine on two other computers.
 * Doesn’t seem like a javascript problem, other than the fact that it’s not loading
   the file, because it can’t find it, because the html appears corrupted. Bizarre!

   very odd and very unique issue, it may be best for you to completely re-install
   manually the current NextGEN Gallery via FTP as your next course of action.
