    Hello,

    I am having the same problems with importing as others have reported 3 months ago and supposedly was fixed with the release of version 1.6.8

    WP-Staging mentions your plugin, in fact they even created a new support video on their site demonstrating the export/import feature of your product. We use WP-Staging and use your plugin to export orders from production site for the purpose of importing these orders into the staging site prior to pushing (migrating) the staging site back to production.

    When I tried importing the order CSV file into staging nothing happened. Next I tried importing the same file into production and again nothing happened. Note: There are no existing orders on either production or staging as deleted these after I created the export file.

    Now comes the wierd part… I took the CSV file and opened it in Excel and chose ‘Save-As’ > selected the file and then picked MORE OPTIONS, then TOOLS, then WEB OPTIONS and selected the encoding to be UTF-8 (I don’t know what the original encoding was). After doing this I was able to import the CSV file back into production. However, the exact same file would not import into the staging site.

    Any ideas how I might go about debugging this? WP-STAGING creates the staging site as a subfolder of the production site.

    Hi @kruddock,

    Our plugin by default exports the file with UTF-8 encoding. Please share the screenshot of the browser console screen when the importing is done and the fatal error log(Woocommerce>status>logs>fatal-error) so that we can check it. Also please share your importing CSV file. You may please send the CSV file via support.
