# Cannot insert media or hyperlinks

 * Hi, I recently upgraded my WordPress to the newest version 3.5 and when I try
   to insert any sort of media (in my case pictures), and/or hyperlinks nothing 
   happens when I click the button to do so…it just sits on the same screen and 
   is completely unresponsive. I have the same problem with trying to view my posts
   in the HTLM (now “Text”) view when I am trying to create new posts. Not once 
   did I have this problem with the earlier versions of WordPress.
 * Please help, seeing as I cannot really keep my blog up-to-date, or do anything
   to update my blog when I am unable to create posts.

 * Hi there. I experience the same problem. I also can’t edit the HTML code (which
   is simply gone), nor can I add images or tags. Does anyone know if WP is going
   to fix these bugs?

   Added to which, your problem – despite any similarity in symptoms – is likely
   to be completely different.

 * Highly unlikely that it’s “completely different” as plenty of people who have
   had the headache of upgrading to wordpress 3.5 are now having problems.

 * Are you using the same version of WordPress on the same physical server hosted
   by the same hosts with the same plugins, theme & configurations as the original
   poster?
 * No? Then please help us to help you and post a new topic when we ask you to.
