    Hi,

I can’t install wordpress to my website, please help me. i’ve changed the
wp-config.php and edit the database name, user and password , host. but still doesn’t work.

It comes up as an error. Can someone help?
    Error establishing a database connection

This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can’t contact the database server at mysql16.000webhost.com. This could mean your host’s database server is down.

    * Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
    * Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname?
    * Are you sure that the database server is running?

    Thanks

Make sure that user assigned has all privileges to the wordpress db. Contact your host to check if the sql server is down.

Check the account info you got from your hosting company and see Editing wp-config.php « WordPress Codex. They should have set up the database for you.

Realize that free hosting can be sketchy, too.

rogersp9, please start your own thread next time instead of hijacking one that has absolutely nothing to do with your problem. For now, see this:
