# Cannot load css

 * The problem is: the plugin tries to load the fontawesome css, but it gets 404
   as response for the 6.5.0 version. The following link [https://use.fontawesome.com/releases/v6.5.0/css/all.css?ver=6.5.0](https://use.fontawesome.com/releases/v6.5.0/css/all.css?ver=6.5.0)
   will not load, but will work as expected with [https://use.fontawesome.com/releases/v6.5.0/css/all.css?ver=6.5](https://use.fontawesome.com/releases/v6.5.0/css/all.css?ver=6.5)
   or without the “ver” query param.
 * Previous versions are working fine.
 * I’m not sure if this is a plugin issue or something on the fontawesome end but
   I though was better to report it anyway.

   for reporting. I’m away from my computer right now. I did reach out to a resource
   at FA to clarify if this URL should be resolving or not. I’ll update when I know
   more.

 * Sorry for the lack of replies I’ve been out of town but I’m back and took a closer
   look at this.
 * It is pretty weird behavior, and it only seems to come up when loading 6.50 font,
   with 6.5.0 in the ‘ver’ parameter.
 * I’ll probably just drop that parameter entirely in the future. Typically it would
   be there as a cache-busting measure. However these resource URLs already contain
   the version number so it is redundant.
 * Since the time you reported it, 6.5.1 has come out and it doesn’t seem to have
   the problem that 6.5.0 did. So I am guessing you are no longer experiencing this
   issue?

 * That’s right it’s working fine right now and the ver=6.5.0 link is also working.
   It’s a really weird behavior.

 * Oh how strange I didn’t realize the initial ‘bad link’ started working again 
   too. Well I guess nothing to see here then…
