• Hello everyone! i’m the owner of http://www.Provideogamer.com

I just started working on this site a few days ago and i’m new to this so im running into some problems. First off after changing some code around in functions folder (I was trying to put google analytics on my site to see if I had any visits) it gave me a error message and a white page.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘<‘ in /home/content/00/5722600/html/wp-content/themes/intense_gamer_boy_tee015/functions.php on line 2127

So seeing as i’ve taken some programming classes and thinking If I can break it I can fix it! I tried to replace the functions php folder with the same functions php folder from the original theme. Well…thats not working out right now. Still have the error code and I’m completely at a stand still on what to do… I would greatly appreciate if anyone could assist me. Thanks so much!

  • I’m not seeing any error
try clearing your browser cache and have a look

If the only thing you did was edit the functions.php of your active theme, then the only thing you should have to do is upload an unedited copy of that one file.

I’m not sure what you are referring to as “the functions php folder”. If you edited the functions.php of your theme, that would be your theme folder (i.e. /wp-content/themes/intense_gamer_boy_tee015/ )

If you did not save an unedited copy of functions.php and your theme is a stock theme, download a fresh copy of the theme and upload the functions.php file to your theme folder without editing it.
