# Cannot make changes after failed update

 * Hi there,
 * Today I had tried to update to WordPress 5.0.1 and the update failed because 
   of a checksum error.
 * Now, in the Worpress user interface I cannot update pages or make changes anymore.
   
   For example when I want to update a page I get redirected to the list of posts(
   not pages) and when checking back to the page the changes I made have not been
   saved.
 * In another (when I want to update some data in a plugin) I get an error “Saving
   failed: AJAX call failed: error – Bad Request. Try again while holding down the“
   Shift” key.” After I try the shift key I only get a blank page and my changes
   have not been submitted.
 * So generally there is a weird behavoir in the wordpress interface and it seems
   the best option is to restore from a backup. Is that correct, or is there anything
   else I can do?

 * The behavoir is now back to normal, but I don’t know why.
    Anyway I’m closing
   the topic.

 * Hey, Maybe this issue was cuz of tablepress plugin. Try disabling tablepress 
   plugin is you face the same issue again 🙂
