# Cannot modify header information

 * I’ve seen this before, but most of the topics I scanned were several years old.
 * I’m unable to login to one of my sites. I keep getting the error below.
 * So far I’ve tried to manually upload the 3.5.1
    Reinstall twenty eleven and twenty
   twelve theme
 * Some of those posts said to move the header info up the appropriate php files,
   but I don’t even know how to find line 362 0r 881, and I’m an advanced beginner
   at best – I don’t feel very comfortable messing with code- yet.

 * “Cannot modify header information” usually means that you have a space before
   the opening `<?php` tag or after the closing `?>` tag in your functions file.
   Clean up the file using a bona fide text editor (such as Notepad++) and reupload
   the file. Problem should go away.
