# cannot open admin dashboard

 * I cannot open admin dashboard or login at [http://lakechamplainlife.com](http://lakechamplainlife.com).
   i had to rename home page in c-panel to [http://www.lakechamplainlife.com](http://www.lakechamplainlife.com)
   in order to get site to open, but still cannot get to admin.
    I’ve deactivated
   all plugins, changed the theme from Elbee-Elgee to 20-11 (in 20-11 site showed
   only white screen), but still no admin access. Any ideas are gratefully appreciated.
   In the meantime, I can’t post, edit or do anything else.

 * when I try to log in, the following redirect appears [http://www.lakechamplainlife.com/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%253A%252F%252Fwww.lakechamplainlife.com%252Fwp-admin%252F&reauth=1](http://www.lakechamplainlife.com/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%253A%252F%252Fwww.lakechamplainlife.com%252Fwp-admin%252F&reauth=1).
 * this may be part of the problem. I was receiving an error 310 (too many redirects)
   prior to renaming the home page with www.

 * after a while was able to locate htaccess file disable it, and create a new one
   with clean code

 * My apologies; my hosting company thought it might be theme related after plugins
   were eliminated from suspicion. It was unrelated to theme and was actually caused
   by code that was added elsewhere.
