# Cannot paste any content into posts?

 * Hello,
    I cannot paste any content into posts for some time now.. maybe 2 weeks!
   It literally stopped my content creation dead in the tracks because I mainly 
   use content curation at the moment, so external links to blog posts and authors
   social profiles are a must for me… manually copying all this data just takes 
   too long and is prone to writing errors.
 * Also, I cannot even activate the hyperlink popup to even insert a link manually!
 * I have looked this up in the forum and a lot of people are having the same problem!
   
   I asked my hosting company and they are running PHP 7.0 on my server.
 * Please let me know what is wrong here?

 * Thanks. I’m not seeing any obvious errors. (I was looking for a specific jquery
   one.)
 * So, let’s try this:
 * Deaactivate ALL plugins and change the theme to twentysixteen. Is the problem
   gone? If, so reactivate your original theme. Problem still gone? If not, then
   the problem is with your theme. If not, activate your plugins one at a time until
   you find the one causing the issue.
 * Yes, it’s a giant pain to do this, but it’s a sound methodology.
