Turns out GoDaddy provides a good answer for this. I’m adding it to the FAQ as well:
https://support.godaddy.com/help/article/1662/why-is-my-paypal-account-blocking-payments-from-un-encrypted-buttons
Reopen this thread if it doesn’t work (and please let me know if it does).

That did it. Those steps from GoDaddy were way off as to the location of the encrypted buttons, but once I found it, it worked like a charm.
For reference to any one else looking, its under
Hosted Payment Settings | Website Payments Preferences | Encrypted Website Payments
Thanks again for supporting this wonderful site, and the quick response.
p.s. I’m looking forward to the feature that allows donors to “donate 100% of contribution” which basically adds an additional 3% to the transaction. Other than that little ditty, its perfect.

Tell me about that, please. I’m not familiar with it.

P.S. Updating FAQ with your notes. Thanks!

Sure thing. There are a few donation processors that make giving that much easier by allowing the donor to pledge 100% of their $$ to the cause.
Donate Now does a good job of this. You can see an example here
https://donatenow.networkforgood.org/wildhorsewarriors
At the bottom of the page, it gives the option to add the 3% (this is what PayPal usually charges MOST customers).
Plus I love how they have the buttons vs radio buttons… not sure if you plan on doing this, but that would be cool too.
Thanks again David.
