# Cannot Publish Post / Preview Draft Error

 * NOTE: This is a multisite installation
 * After upgrading to 5.3 today, new posts are getting a “not found” error even 
   after publishing.
 * Another side effect is that clicking on Preview within the dashboard gets the“
   Sorry, you are not allowed to preview drafts.” error. Even though it is published.
 * in the link given, you will be taken to a 404 link. You will also notice 3 posts
   under “recent posts” that exhibit this behavior. They all say not found even 
   though the post is published and the permalinks are correct.
 *  It would seem this post and other new posts are in a status between draft/not
   fully published.
 * So far this is the only site (out of 100+) exhibiting this behavior, but there
   could be more.
 * I have resaved permalinks. I have a hunch this is due to the database upgrade
   done at the time of 5.3 installation. is there a way to retrigger for an individual
   site?

 * Just a followup – This site was erroneously set to UTC 0 instead of chicago. 
   I fixed it and set it to Chicago, but for some reason dates keep multiplying 
   by 2. I set the publish date to December 2, and it bumps it up to 3, which results
   in not found.
 * Im still trying to isolate it.

 * Fixed.
 * In my theme (left over from a previous developer) we had this line:
 * date_default_timezone_set(‘America/Chicago’);
 * And the site in question was accidentally set to UTC 0 which was causing a calamity
   with the new date/time functions.
