I cannot re-authenticate. I cannot verify credentials I cannot deauthenticate. That solved the problem for me as well. The issue IMHO is that the plugin isn’t cleaning up after itself. There are lots of these requests on this forum and they just want everyone to keep filling out contact forms instead of just giving us the answer here. * These are the specific steps I took… * Step 1: Make a backup of your database. Step 2: Deactivate the plugin, answer/ skip the annoying ‘why are you disabling the plugin’ survey and then delete the plugin. Step 3: In phpMyAdmin query “SELECT * FROM `wp_options` WHERE `option_name` LIKE ‘%monsterinsights%’ (assuming you haven’t changed the prefix). Step 4: Delete all those records like the plugin should have done when deleted. From then it was possible again to deauthenticete the copied website too.
