# Cannot render Latex formulas

 * Up to yesterday everything went ok, since yesterday I get a lot of rendering 
   errors. But … some Latex formulas are rendered, others not.
   Errormessage for 
   a very simple expression:
 * *** QuickLaTeX cannot compile formula:
 * \aries
 * *** Error message:
 * Cannot connect to QuickLaTeX server: cURL error 28: Connection timed out after
   10001 milliseconds
 * Please make sure your server/PHP settings allow HTTP requests to external resources(“
   allow_url_fopen”, etc.)

 * We have been experiencing significant overload on our server (looks like many
   users do not use cache). We applied a few fixes, and it should be better functioning
   by now.

 * It’s working again. Thanks.
 * I hope, it wasn’t me who created that load. Normally I have QuickLatex Cache 
   and WPSuperCache activated; but right now I am restructuring and rewriting some
   of my pages, also creating some new with a lot of latex formulas; also changed
   some global settings and preamble.
 * If errors will reoccur, I will post here 😉
