# Cannot request token

 * Hi,
 * After setting up the details for requesting token and I typed again the account
   details at the mendeley page, the plugin indicates “Failed retrieving OAuth2 
   access token: Failed to connect to api.mendeley.com port 443: Connection refused’.
 * Is that due to the cURL problem? I have no idea how to enable it.
    Any other 
   solutions to this problem?

 * cURL has to be enabled in the PHP configuration (it might be necessary to install
   an additional PHP package). Details should be available in the description of
   your server environment.
