I’m having an issue where adding a Negative access rule to the Stranger Access Level does not prevent access to the protected page (i.e. the page still loads). When I restrict access using a URL Group, then it correctly prevents access to the page.

What do you think is causing this?

I only have 2 user access types (Stranger and Member) and one subscription (Member). The Member has a positive rule (can view page) and the Stranger has a negative rule. But it doesn’t seem to be working

I’ve been using the URL Groups to restrict access, but it’s a hassle because I have to manually enter the direct link, and it has be exact (with www or without www, http and https).

I don’t have any caching plugins installed. My permalinks structure is set to “Post name.”

Any thoughts as the the problem? Thanks.

    Hey there graphicbear,

Hope you’re well today and sorry for the delay 🙁

Could you please post screenshots of your access levels so we can take a look at your settings first before we start troubleshooting this further?

Looking forward for your reply 🙂

    Best regards,
    Bojan
