Please bear with me as this could be a long explanation! * My issue is that I can’t save anything – updates to pages etc as when clicking on update or save, as wordpress just times out and I’d get an internet explorer cannot display the page error. * So I’ve contacted my hosting provider who said it was an issue with my wordpress settings, so as I couldn’t even manage to change the settings I decided to un- install and re-install wordpress (installing the latest version of wordpress). * After a catalogue of issues with wordpress and hosting, I’ve eventually managed to get my website back and start updating it again. * However, I went to install plugins and I notice that all the plugins I had installed before re-installing wordpress were still there although not activated. I had thought with un-installing and then re-installing a new version of wordpress these would have gone and I would need to re-install the plugins. * so I went and activated the plugins i want to use for my website and I am back to the problem I had before that I cannot save any changes as wordpress is timing out. so its an issue with plugins. Although I am using the same plugins on other sites and not having this problem. I’ve reset the plugins folder.
