# Cannot set up plugin

 * Hello,
 * After installing, activating, then clicking on the menu item for Syncee a page
   loads with a broken image and something about connecting (which I’m sure is what
   I need to do). The page then quickly changes to your logo and a “Refresh” button,
   with no other information.
 * This is a fresh WordPress & WooCommerce install with the only other installed
   plugin being Jetpack.
 * Using inspector, I see the div containing the Register button and message is 
   set to display:none . I edited the source to access the buttons and….
 * “Register Syncee to WooCommerce” only loads my store’s home page, with authorization
   parameters in the CGI string. No options to do anything.

 * The “Register to Syncee” button only takes me to:
    [https://installer.syncee.co/woocommerce_auth/callback](https://installer.syncee.co/woocommerce_auth/callback)?
   With an error of “Whoops, looks like something went wrong.”
 * There are no entries in the error log.
    Tried in Chrome, Edge, and Firefox

 * The main reason for this issue in most cases is that the requirements for our
   plug-in are not met.
 * I would suggest double-checking if your store meets all the requirements below:
   –
   WordPress 4.4 or greater – Woocommerce 2.6 or greater – Email account set up 
   in WordPress – Store name is added as well in WordPress – Have SSL Certficate–
   Allow PHP curl
 * Alternatively, I suggest changing the Permalinks from Plain to and other (Post
   preferably) under Settings -> Permalinks in WordPress.
 * Let me know if it still does not work. 🙂

 * I figured out the issue. Even though the site is using https, I overlooked that
   one of the site’s URLs was still set to http. I fixed that and it is now working.
 * My opinion, a few if statements or a switch could do a quick check of your common
   issues, report what needs resolving to the user, and be linked to the admin page
   to do it. That would prevent having just a mostly blank page shown and save some
   support topics 🙂
