# Cannot stop preloading

 * Hello,
 * I preloaded URLs from my sitemaps ( about 50000 urls )
    Now I want to stop preloading,
   but I cannot stop the preloading. Is that not possible?
 * If I switch off the preloader, it still preloads.
    If I switch off the plugin,
   it preloads. If I switch off/on the preloader and press the button START PRELOADER,
   I get the message: Unable to start the preloader. Another preloading process 
   is currently running. At Cache Actions I pressed the button for Reset All

 * Is it not possible to stop preloading, or do I did something wrong?

    If you have turned off the preloader inside the plugin settings and update
   the settings it shouldn’t preload. But just to be be double sure, first inside
   the preloader section remove the sitemap URLs you have mentioned and then save
   changed. Then turn off the preloader. Then clear the plugin log and check. There
   souldn’t be any more preloading.
 * If you are still seeing the preloading that means it is not happening via this
   plugin but either some other plugin or some server level software.

 * Hi,
    1. The sitemaps are already removed. But for shure I saved it again. 2. 
   I turned off the preloader. 3. I cleared the plugin log. 4. I checked the log.
   5. Result: Still Preloading.

 * 6. I deactivated and the activated this plugin again. It still preloads.
    7. 
   I turned off/on my server. It still preloads.
 * FYI: I have a wp-multisite with different directories. In every directory the
   plugin is activated. Not network activation. I don’t know if this is important.
 * If I start preloading at another directory of my wp-multisite, it loads the sitemap
   of this directory ( I can see it in the log ) but it not starts preloading of
   this directory. ( I know, because only one preload process can start. ) It still
   loads the sites from the other directory. But I not get the message “Unable to
   start the preloader. Another preloading process is currently running”
 * At woocommerce/status Log I found this:

 * This log is from 3 days ago. I’m not shure if this was the time I started the
   preloader.

    The preloading is written
   in the log of your plugin. If it comes from another plugin or from the server,
   why it is written in your log?
 * I think your plugin send a command to somewhere to do/load this action. Or?
 * Any Idea?

 * Update:
    Just now I saw that the first directory / directory of wp-multisite 
   installation, was finishing preloading. Because I activated other directories
   of my multisite for sitemap preloading in the meantime, it start preloading the
   second directory automatically after finishing the first directory.
 * This second process in this second wp-multisite directory is not possible to 
   stop too.
 * Ok, no problem, if it not will run in a loop and will finish preloading soon,
   but maybe you can do something in your code to really stop preloading. So I think
   your “stop preloading action” or the action for “Unable to start the preloader.”
   is not 100% ok. Maybe because of wp-mulisite?

 * Hi,
    you did not mentioned that you are using a wp multisite. On multisite environment
   you cannot install this plugin as network plugin and you have to install it separately
   on each site and configure accordingly.
