# Cannot subscribe

 * I have been trying to subscribe using the Jetpack subscription widget. I can 
   subscribe using some gmail accounts I have. But my main work email will not let
   me subscribe. This is a multisite/network instance

 * I receive this message when I submit:
 * > The email address has opted out of subscription emails.
   >  You can manage your
   > preferences at subscribe.wordpress.com

   > of new posts by email.
   > Join 28 other subscribers

   emails?

 * Hello,
    The same issue I am getting. When I entered an email address subscribe
   widget it says; _The email address has opted out of subscription emails. You 
   can manage your preferences at subscribe.wordpress.com Please assist.

 * Hello,
    This issue is with my follower, if I enter his/her email, the info will
   go to his inbox. How will I know? So many followers are complaining me that when
   they enter their email address in the subscription box, it says _“opted-out……………”_
 * Please suggest the resolution for this issue.

   settings, and opt back in to receive WordPress.com emails:

 * I am having the same problem when try to sign up with my own email (I am already
   subscribed). It tells me that I have opted out. When I go to the my subscription
   page, it clearly shows that I am in fact subscribed. Is this just an error of
   the check of which state I’m in (already subscribed vs opted out)?

 * I submitted something on the contact form. Still not working properly; I AM subscribed,
   but am getting a message about having blocked all subscriptions. So it seems 
   that the system “works” but is issuing a misleading message. If I unsubscribe,
   I can successfully re-subscribe. When I try to subscribe again, I am told I have
   blocked all subscriptions again.

 * I got this message in April; my assumption is that the bug is not yet fixed
 * This is a known bug, that the incorrect message will appear when you attempt 
   to subscribe, but are already subscribed.
 * It will be corrected in a future release of Jetpack.
