# {Plugin: Akismet] Cannot update Akismet plugin

 * Cannot update Akismet plugin, it says:
 * Update Failed: The update cannot be installed because we will be unable to copy
   some files. This is usually due to inconsistent file permissions.
 * May be connected to another problem. I was getting this error:
 * Fatal error: Cannot call overloaded function for non-object in /home/content/
   p3pnexwpnas02_data03/12/2808712/html/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 525
 * The second problem became corrected when the Gravity Forms plugin was deactivated–
   although Gravity Forms says their plugin was not the cause…
 * Now I cannot install Akismet.
 * Anyone know how to solve this?
