# Cannot update because of .ea-php-cli.cache

 * Hello,
    I cannot update MailPoet because it bails out on the file .ea-php-cli.
   cache. Error message is :
 * > La mise à jour ne peut pas être installée parce que nous n’allons pas pouvoir
   > copier certains fichiers. Ce problème est généralement dû à des incohérences
   > dans les permissions de fichiers. .ea-php-cli.cache
 * Actually, the .ea-php-cli.cache file is a symlink that is, apparently, intentionally

   The ea-php-cli cache symlink”)
 * I suspect the MailPoet package is having issues with the unexpected symlink in
   its own directory ? All my other plugins seem to update blissfully.
 * Now, I can successfully update MailPoet IF I first delete the .ea-php-cli.cache
   symlink. But it would be much easier if the update would happen seamlessly. I
   am open for suggestions !
