# Cannot Update Form

 * I have been using Contact Form 7 for many months and have been quite pleased 
   with the plugin. However, I just went to update a form that I use on one of the
   pages of our website, and I was unable to do so. When I clicked on the tab to
   insert a form, it does not populate correctly and thus it cannot be updated. 
   Any ideas? I really need this resolved quickly as my form is time critical.

 * Try deactivating all other plugins and switching to the default theme.

 * I assume you are kidding…? You want me to deactivate the 20+ plugins that I have
   as well as change my theme? For what purpose? I think it might be easier to just
   change the plugin I am using for my contact forms. I was hoping for some help
   here…

 * **[@revival](https://wordpress.org/support/users/revival/) By Design** – that’s
   standard troubleshooting to rule out plugin or theme conflicts. It’s often a 
   process of elimination to find problems like this – there is not quick/easy solution.

 * OK… the problem has to do with Internet Explorer. When I opened my admin page
   through Chrome, the form editor opened perfectly fine. I apologize for the sharpness
   of my comments earlier…
