 * A friend, a web host/developer, was helping me with some updates. One of our
   tasks is to update the version of PHP we’re running the site on.
   Right now we
   cannot complete this step due to some deprecated PHP in use with this plugin.
   Is there an update available that will not prevent us from updating our PHP version?
   The calendar is not public-facing, not that that has any bearing, but I didn’t
   see any point to linking to the site.

 * Adding some details of the issues, when attempting to switch from PHP 7.4 to
   8.2 the following error is thrown:
   PHP Fatal error:  Uncaught Error: Call to
   undefined function create_function() in /srv/example.com/httpdocs/wp-content/

 * Hi,
 * The latest plugin version is compatible with the latest PHP versions.
 * If it hasn’t been automatically updated then you may be using an old commercial
   version of the plugin. If this is the case then [please contact us directly on our site](https://wordpress.dwbooster.com/support)
   to assist with the update process. We are not allowed to support any customers
   in these forums since commercial products are [not supported in these forums](https://wordpress.org/support/guidelines/#do-not-post-about-commercial-products).
   We will happily answer this and any other questions you can have [on our own site](https://wordpress.dwbooster.com/support).
 * Thank you.

 * Indeed, it is the commercial version and the updated version provided through
   the support channels solves the issue.
 * Thank you!
