# Cannot Update Plugin

 * It says the plugin needs to be updated, but cannot be updated:

   Please advise. It’s been days.

 * Are you referring to the MailPoet 3 Premium plugin?
 * If the update is not being shown, you can try to force the update to show up 
   by going to the _WordPress Dashboard > Updates_ and click on the “Check again”
   button.
 * If it doesn’t work, you can delete the old plugin from the Plugins page and install
   it again by going to the _MailPoet’s Settings > Key Activation tab_ and clicking
   on the “Verify” button.
 * You can also download the plugin from your MailPoet 3 account and manually upload
   it on the _WordPress dashboard > Plugins page_.
